What is Comfort Eats?
Comfort Eats is an online store that sells select American pre-packaged goodies for your enjoyment.
What type of products do you sell?
Well we are focused on the iconic comfort food staples like cookies, pastries, chips, etc. We also like to bring in unique flavors of the tried and true brands, like speciality Oreos or seasonal cereals.
We are testing other products like spices and some cooking/baking products like Kraft Mac and Cheese or StoveTop Stuffing, but we'll see how that goes.
Unfortunately we aren't stocking beverages, perishable products like meat or dairy, or other baking ingredients like pie shells, and flour.
Where do you ship to?
We beta testing shipment to all countries. We have sent orders to New Zealand, Australia, India, South Korea, Germany, Denmark, Malaysia, Colombia, Italy, Spain, Puerto Rico, UAE, France, Budapest, Senegal, and Canada.
Because we are based in the United States, we unfortunately can't ship US sanctioned countries of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.
What is your refund or exchange policy?
If you are unhappy with your purchase please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you to make it right.
My order was damaged

Do you provide tracking information?
Yes we generally ship with 48-72hrs of us receiving your order. At that time we will send tracking information to the email address associated with the order.
Note: With COVID-19 impacts to product availability, shipping may be slightly delayed.
How much is shipping?
We make shipping as affordable as possible! An average order costs around $10 USD in shipping fees! (For comparison, UPS can charge ~$100 for the same sized shipment). Shipping costs are determined by the the number of items you purchase and the weight of your items.
What about Customs or Duties?
The price you pay is everything. You won't be charged customs or duties, we take care of any customs and duties through our shipping provider DHL.
Will you add other items to the store?
Yes. We'll continually rotate items to ensure we are offering the most popular goodies. If you would like to see something specific added to the site, please let us know here.
What about the environment, isn't shipping internationally really bad?
It can be, but we make many efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We use some recycled packaging materials, we try to make shipments as compact as possible so we're not wasting space, and we recently integrated with Cloverly to offer customers a way to offset the carbon produced by their shipment.
As we grow we'll find other ways to incorporate environmentally friendly processes.
I saw that you post about reviews, if I give a review will you use my personal information?
Not at all. For anyone who generously gives us a review, we'll only repost what our customer has already made available in the review. We won't use any purchase data or private information that you've shared with us. Your privacy is important to us and we would never take advantage.
